The architecture draws inspiration directly from the plot’s irregular shape: curved walls on one side reflect the winding street, while a clean, straight line on the other follows the canal that borders the property. This thoughtful approach results in an unexpected yet perfectly tailored form that maximizes the size and function of the surrounding gardens.
You can’t underestimate the power of a good night’s sleep, and this home prioritizes that all-important downtime. In fact, there is a whole wing dedicated to it. The house has a “living” wing and a “sleeping” wing that connects via a transparant gallery-like hallway.
The family home embodies a commitment to eco-conscious living through the use of earthy tones and sustainable materials. The exterior features a rammed earth facade and a timber frame structure, creating a warm, natural aesthetic that reflects the clients' environmental values.
